Twyford Growers join RGWN

RGWN are delighted to welcome Twyford Growers as the newest member of the network.

Twyford Growers is a friendly group for adults that meets at the Hurst Road allotments in Twyford to grow flowers, fruit and vegetables and enjoy each other’s company. The group is run by the garden lead, Christina Hughes Nind, under the umbrella of Age UK Berkshire and is supported by Twyford Parish Council and Ruscombe Parish Council.

The group was set up in 2020. Highlights over the years have included winning prizes at the local horticultural shows and being part of Twyford in Bloom. The group has received recognition for their work, including being shortlisted for an award in Twyford Together’s 2026 Green Together category.
