Outreach worker for Reading Green Wellbeing Network

Reading Borough Council has awarded Reading Green Wellbeing Network a grant for 2026 to help our work in promoting nature engagement among the people of the Greater Reading Area. The award will be used to enable an outreach worker to meet with people at community events and fairs, telling them about the activities that our members organise. These events will also enable RGWN to explain the benefits to all ages of engaging with nature through gardening, conservation work and the diverse range of activities offered by RGWN members. The outreach worker will also seek to find out about barriers for local people engaging with nature.
