Ridgeline Trust

What we do

Ridgeline therapeutic garden uses gardening and connecting with nature to improve mental health and wellbeing. Horticultural therapy sessions at their beautiful garden in East Reading can benefit people with mental health issues, physical disabilities, learning difficulties and more. Sessions are led by horticultural therapists with support from volunteers, and can help build confidence and self-esteem, and reduce levels of stress and anxiety. The garden and buildings are accessible for people with mobility issues, and sessions are adapted to meet people's interests and abilities.

The garden is on Whiteknights Road, easy to get to by public transport and Readibus, and there's free parking available next to the garden.

Sessions

Sessions support adults of all ages, as well as working with local special schools. The garden is open throughout the year (with a short break around Christmas), and has indoor as well as outdoor space so everyone can carry on comfortably regardless of the weather. There are morning, afternoon and all day sessions. There is a charge for sessions, but some people are able to obtain independent funding.
